BGMS and BGE Moving to 1:1 for 2015-2016

At the school board meeting last Thursday, a plan to move to each student having an iPad at BGE and BGMS was approved.  The staff at the two buildings have been hard at work this year investigating and exploring what they wanted to be able to do with a device instructionally and what they wanted each student to be able to do as they create and curate material.  This is an exciting expansion to our existing 1:1 program at BGHS.  As many things have been learned over the past two years of 1:1 at BGHS, the staff has been able to share what they have learned as well as ideas as the expansion continues in grades 4-8.  We are excited about the 2015-2016 school year!

PTSC Standouts:

Ms. Granzow finished a series of three presentations to the PTSC School Board about the great things happening in our elementary music program.  Ms. Granzow is a passionate teacher that is sharing her love of music with her students.  When you see her–thank her for all of her hard work with all of our elementary students!

Marijuana is legal in two states and “medical” marijuana is legal in more states, including our nearest neighbors.

Parents, you need the latest information.

Mark your calendars to participate in this frank discussion from health & education professionals on the reality of marijuana use and learn strategies on how to discourage experimentation. Get the facts.
