Congratulations to Porter Lakes Elementary School

As you know, each year our third grade students take the IREAD-3 Indiana State Assessment.  This assessment is used by the state to determine if students are ready to progress to fourth grade.  If students do not pass in the spring, remediation is provided along with an opportunity to re-test over the summer.  If the student passes, then they proceed to fourth grade.  I am happy to report that we have 98% of our third grade students that have passed this assessment!  Not only did our third graders do their personal best, but our hard-working staff needs to be commended for all of their efforts to achieve this accomplishment!  Great work!

PTSC Standouts:

2015 is the seventh year Indiana Association of School Principals is recognizing the Top 10 teams in each Indiana Academic Super Bowl enrollment class, based on the cumulative scores of all five rounds at the Area Competition.  Congratulations to Boone Grove Middle School for making the Top 10!  The full list of “Top 10” teams can be viewed online at http://www.iasp.org/pdf/2015SuperJuniorTop10Overall.pdf

Boone Grove Middle School and High School both won gold at the choir competition!  Outstanding!

Logan Lucas and Grant Stockwell both shot 73 today giving the Wolves first place in the Westville invite for golf. Logan and Grant had a playoff round and Logan took first for the whole tournament with Grant taking second.  Great job!

  • Every Wednesday is a 30-minute delayed start. If we have a 2-hour delay, students will arrive at school 2 hours after the regular start time for the building.
