It All Happens So Fast

I don’t know about you, but my social media feed was packed last week with photos of my friend’s kids going back to school.  Many of them were exclaiming that they didn’t know how this had happened–they just brought him/her home from the hospital and now they were a senior or even leaving for college!

This year let’s all think about how we can make great memories.  Memories with our own kids. Memories with our students.  And memories as a family (blood or close-knit friends).  These days move so quickly, and before we know it a new chapter in our lives will arrive.  It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day rushing from place to place that we forget to stop and enjoy the moments we have.  This year let’s all work to connect with each other, support each other, and help each other capture the great moments which are happening all around us.  We are better together.

PTSC Standouts:

Thank you to all who have worked so hard to help us have a great start to our school year!  As you know, we have done extensive work at Boone Grove Elementary and Boone Grove Middle School this summer.  Thank you to the staff at both buildings, the custodial crew, the maintenance crew, and EMCOR for getting the building ready for students!

Thank you to our bus drivers!  The start of school is never easy.  New routes.  New stops.  New families.  On top of that, they are always working to make our routes more efficient–but that all takes time at the start of school.  Thank you, families, for your patience as they work on this.  Thank you, bus drivers and staff, for making sure our students are safe on the bus!
