As you have seen from the push in Indiana in the new Graduation Pathways, the push is to make sure that all students know that there are options beyond attending a four-year college to get a degree.  The push is to have our students leave high school with industry level certifications.  But beyond that, there is a push to help students know about resources available upon graduation for job training, training that sometimes can be obtained for free.  (This is actually true for adults that have a high school diploma, too).  Many of these programs are available through our local Ivy Tech.
